ONE WOMAN, ONE DREAM, ENDLESS POSSIBILITIES . . . .
Diane Toto is the founder and Board President of the We Care Food Pantry located in Homosassa, Florida. In 2004, Diane founded the We Care Food Pantry in Homosassa. We Care started with Diane and friends distributing food out of the back of their vehicles to those in need. Over time, she realized how vast the problem of insecurity was in her area and knew that she had to do more. Over the past 13 years, We Care has grown to distribute over 3 million pounds of food per year. Diane has built the largest food distribution warehouse complex in Citrus County. We Care grew beyond Diane’s wildest dreams and it is now able to help pantries over a four county area. While her focus will always remain on Citrus County, she has forged partnerships in Hernando, Sumter and Marion Counties as well. Diane currently serves as the President of the Board of We Care and will be the first tell you she is the “voice of the voiceless”.
